Hey guys, I'm a newbie as of tonight. Finally sat down and registered.

I have a 2001 Silverado Ext Cab, 4.8, TBS, Varam, K&N Filter, 2" dropped shackles. I had my entire airbox to TB wrapped in heat reflective tape but in the last couple of years, it's been coming off. Truck todate has a lil over 195,000 miles on it and last time I checked a couple of weeks ago, am still getting over 14 mpg in town pulling a 5x10 lawn trailer! And like most people...I normally do not keep my foot off the floor all the time.

Doug

Thanks guys! I don't have any pics at the moment. The bed of my truck is slightly damaged at right now. It was all fixed last year with a roll pan looking nice until I lost the tread on right rear tire one night...it slapped the bent the rear corner up under itself and bent the back bed corner up some. I have yet to get that fixed. Then about 3 weeks ago, my father w/his Jag backed into the left side bed panel that was installed last year! So, I have both sides of the bed dented/bent and no roll pan at the moment. LOL!

Hey Man, Welcome to the site. I've got a 00 sierra 227,000 last I looked still runs great. My son barrowed it to drive to school one day...... came home with the drivers side lower front of the bed caved in, still not fixed. I figure it's not how they look it's how much axx they will haul. He just bought himself a new ford f150 fx4, bragged about how it will run i offered to run him title for title on the long stright d=strech in front of the house, but he don't want none of this GMC. LOL Again Welcome aboard Chris
