What's up everyone. I am just starting to get into modding my truck. I have flowmaster cat back, Valant cai, 160 t-stat, and nelson tune but I need more. I am looking into getting a cam and lt headers but am not sure which one to do first or which cam to get. This is my daily driver so i guess not a too agressive cam. Also, are there any clubs in the New Orleans area that may be able to point me to a place to have the work done. Thanks for the help

What truck do you have aka single cab xcab crewcab? Also what motor is in it.
Are you wanting to stick with a stock convertor or go bigger?
LT's are a good place to shave a couple tenths off your quarter mile time and they really are not that hard to instal.
Pacesetters will yeild you the best bang for buck on those.
Oh yeah welcome to the board.

Sorry I guess it would have helped if I would have told you '06 5.3l crew cab. As far as the converter if I need to go bigger than I will. Is that something that would have to be done at the same time as the cam swap?

Not have to be done but the larger the cam the higher up your powerband moves and the less bottom you will have, so yes, it is a good idea to match them.
