New guy from Maryland, Chevy Colorado
I'm Jeremy and new to the forum. I'm also on a few others too.
I'm in the planning phase of a LSX swap into my 04 Colorado CC ZQ8. It will either be a LS1 with LS6 parts or a 5.3 out of a Silvy with LSX mods.
Anyone with LSX/5.3 swap experiance, tips or words of wisdom would and will be appreciated.
My first goal here is a 12 second daily driver. But I know thats where it all starts......but doesnt end there

Well I'm from the Hanover/Ft Meade area. I'm in the Army and currently deployed to the wonderful IRAQ......for the 3rd time. After this deployment the Rado will be paid for in full, so we all know what that means
I'm a die hard GM guy and have been that way since a kid. I'm good around the shop, and I do all work myself....minus paint and body work bc I don't have the resources for that.
I also have a bone stock 87 Dime with 100k on it from the original owner, shes a beast.
I look forward to be being an active member here as I am on 355Nation.net, coloradofans.com and now a newbie to PT.net/LS1Tech.

Welcome Jeremy, there are plenty of "experts" around here, if you can kick their caskets hard enough to wake them that is.

Well thanks you all for the welcomes! I'm stoked to be a member and getting on this GEN3/4 swap. Its really amazing how many guys are running 12s and 11s in their trucks. Its been a childhood dream to do something like this. My plan it to do the 2010 Hot Rod power tour as well.
Prior to leaving for Iraq I added the cowl induction hood, shaved the tailgate, added the SS mirrors and bought the SS wiper cowl. I still need some more paint work to be finished, but it going back in for that. Now the flashy stuff is done.......its time for MORE POWER.
For fellow members here in that are located in the Baltimore or Metro DC area. Can't to see you guys either at some meets/shows/or the track.
