Hello how's it going ladies and gents my Name is Emmanuel or Manny for nick name ! I own a 2011 silverado 5.3 liter crew cab , it's pretty much stock . Only things I have done are k&n drop in filter and flowmaster exhaust and some slightly bigger wheels and tires !

 

Oh yeah also I forgot lol any recommendations on getting a tune ? Who , what or where ?:/

 

I got a Nelson Performance tune so naturally ill tell u Nelson Performance. Hes tuned two of our trucks, my 07 4.8 with a 220, my brothers 2010 5.3 with a KB Racing T70 @11lbs and within 2 weeks a G8 GT with a 224/232 cam.

Damn I love g8s its a four door corvette lol , I have gotten in contact with Nelson's in the past but I figured my work schedule would not allow that 6am-4pm mon-fri :/ and they're closed in Saturdays !

I live in the north part of Houston guys ! Any tuners close by there . I wouldn't mind a drive either .

 

Few different ways to go about getting a tune. Depends what you want.

-Mail order
-Dyno/in person
-Handheld
-Learn to tune yourself. I vote this one.

 

Hey thanks for the reply , I think I would prefer a dyno or street tune anything in person would be preferable , a good friend of mine had his 08 Sierra tuned by Wheatley about two years back and that thing is damn quick till this day . I have tried to contact him but nothing . Does anyone know if he is still doing tunes ?

 

What are you trying to do? I could help you or my buddy at jtran could do a good job on a stock truck tune.
