thats why i need some help. I not familiar with new stuff. the last vehicle i had that i wrenched one was a big block 72 chevelle.

Are those heads worth buying, What would anyone pay for them?
Well i am on here, Does anyone know what cam comes stock in an 05 5.3

on the heads, core charges from head-porting companies like patroit, etc. are around $800, but used sell for cheaper but not much

I was agreeing that they are ls6 heads...and would prolly have to mill them to raise the compression back up right?

he only wants $300.00 for them. Performance wise would it be worth it (with small roller too)

what do you mean by small roller, if it means cam these trucks have a full roller setup stock

Thanks a bunch, have you heard much about the comp XFI roller cams for keeping drivability in a 4x4 w/35's

do you have a link for them

the key to keeping driveability is not a certain brand or type of lobes on the cam but the duration and lift numbers, which you would want semi low duration numbers

id think a 212/218 or something similar would be good
