Hey guys. Been on the site for a while and finally bought a truck. Decided to sign up and say hi. Truck is a 2008 Vortec max. Only thing done SO FAR is a magnaflow exhaust, removed most of the badging and took out the lift blocks in the rear.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Hopefully I can meet up with a few of the Alberta boys. Plans for the truck are a 2/4 drop, intake, cam, exhaust and tune. That should tide me over for the summer.

Nice truck 2theVMAX, I'm in Edmonton and I picked up my 08 VMAX just a couple days ago. Black on black LTZ crew cab. In fact aside from the crew cab the only exterior difference from yours is that my grill is color matched, and I've got window visors.

Yeah, the all important tune, they aren't kidding when they say you can feel when the 4 seconds is up and you get full power.

You have someone local in mind for a tune? I've been thinking about autocal mail order because it will give me the ability to custom tune more than one vehicle. But if there is someone good as close as red deer I'd be interested in that too.

What a guy really should do is get hptuners and a couple books and go at it.

As you can see I'm a little undecided on this.
