I am debating on swapping my current 224 that is in my 5.3 to the new 6.0 or installing a comp 228 230 .572 that I bought before doing any research. Seems like everyone likes the 224 but I think it might be a little too small. How does your truck perform as far as low end and high end on the 224? What are your 60ft and 1/8 mile times? How's the lope on the 6.0? What are your overall impressions with that cam?

What's up Firefighter. I'm the black single cab, stepside truck that was out at Penwell the time you were running your truck. Welcome to the site. I have the same cam you do sittin in the shop! Waitin to put it in. My truck runs alot better since me and you raced at the track. Finally got the tune straightened out!! Yeh, your truck would run some 12's in Houston for sure. That's what some of these guys don't realize! Air is EVERYTHING! They are spoiled, they never had to run in shitty air! Anyways, when the tracks open up, me, you, and Tarinitup, and HemiGoat should meat up. I know for a fact that we have some of the fastest trucks in our area. Feels pretty good huh?! Welcome to the Site.....

I was out there that day too. Do you drive the white High Output truck? That was way back last year.

Yeah I Have The White Vho That Day I Had The Small Slicks On. Txsquezze
You Have The Vette Engine Right. I Remeber You But I Did'nt See Tarinitup.
About The Cam It Has A Small Lope You Can Still Notice It's There. For Some Reason I Have A Lot Of Top End. 60ft Is A 1.92 And 1/8 I Would Have To Find A Slip To Look I Never Look At That. I Need A Tranny I Think I Should Run A Faster Time. Sometimes I Want A Bigger Cam But Is The Couple Of Horse Power And Sound Worth The Money To Change. I Dont Think So

Hell yeh man. That's gonna wake it up for sure! I know when I put mine in, it was night and day. Should run a little quicker than a 8.6 this time. Next time I go to the track I will have Big-n-Littles, cam, heads, new Detroit, Lakewood's, racin seats, rollpan, and a little bit more weight reduction. The 8.6 was with the broke stock G80, slippin tranny, and no traction bars. Should be ALOT different next time!! Hopin for some low low 8's, high 7's w/out the bottle. Who knows about the times with the bottle. Not takin a guess. Just gonna let it surprise me! When you went to the track last time I was out there, did you have a stall? I'm sayin that you might knock off about a tenth or too if you already had a stall to begin with. If not, about 1/2 a second or more! Let me know when you go to the track. I wanna go watch!

Later.....
