Hey, I have used this site to help me fix my truck in a time of need, and for finding out crazy cool things about chevys. I have a 2002 chevy 1500 5.3l v8 reg cab short bed.
But its not going to be a 5.3l for long I just bought a 6.0l lq4 for my truck. I plan of doing work on it this week, we will have to see. I want to get better cam for the new engine... but am a little lost in what would be the best. Any help?

Welcome to the forum. Cam choice depends on you overall goals. Dd, street racer, or track star? Are you willing to run a looser stall torque converter? Any plans of fi or spray? Do some searching and looks at peoples combos

This truck is and will be my everyday, street racer type fun truck, I do want to put in a torque converter. I have known of past truck with the combo of just cams and torque converter, but I am really on the fence if it would be worth putting it in. Thats really what I grew up knowing about but is there a better combo of things out there that would still let the truck be an ok daily driver?...
