Hey was up everyone I have a 03 Chevy Silverado 4.8 single cab just started getting into mods and stuff like that...the truck is basically all motor just have an intake and super 10 muffler with the pipe on the side...I’m thinking of putting a cam what do you guys suggest best bang for my buck I’m in south cali so yea

 

Any of the stage 1 or stage 2 camshafts from places like texas speed or brian tooley racing will make more power than the stock camshaft. With the the factory manifolds and cats it should still pass emissions while giving it a decent power bump. It won't be anything mind blowing for sure more power than what it makes now.

Ideally going up in cubic inches to a 5.3/6.0 with a small camshaft would be the best for getting more power.
