what is the end result you're looking for? if its low end torque you'll never find it in the 4.8. if its straight line performance, probably a stall converter to make up for the lack of low end torque. but if you want something simple to give you decent gains get a tune.

Any of the sponsor's at the right that tune are great!!! Wheatley is very well known around here and very reputable! Nelson also is...call whomever you choose for a tune and tell them what you are looking for and they will work their magic! You wont be dissappointed

The 4.8 is a great engine! They remind me of the old skool 283's. The right parts on these engines will make em move! So if you build them right, they'll give you what you're looking for.

we're having a blackbear performance meet at the end of april in schaumburg, you can get your truck custom tuned in person.

it's a $50 deposit now and the other 200 when you get it tuned, let me know if you're interested.
