Default My wife is a HOT, drag racing REDHEAD

Hey guys, my name is Patrick, I'm a Service advisor at a Cadillac/GMC store here in Arkansas.

I'm a total automotive addict, more specifically turbocharged vehicles.

Met my wife (of one year) 8 years ago at the local street races, she was 16 driving her 95 Camaro she got when she was 12

She has an 87 S-10 with a mild 383 (400 block) with aluminum heads, slicks & skinnies. Hope to make the final touches very soon to get it back on the track this year after the new engine finally got installed. (used to be a 305ci)

We daily drive Audi's. I have an 02 S4 (2.7L V6 twin turbo) with all the bolt ons, still has stock turbos though.

She has an 08 A4 S-line. Its slammed.

We recently acquired an 05 Sierra Crew Cab 2wd 5.3L LM7. I wanted to boost an LS engine & we needed a tow pig for her drag truck.

My goal is to run LS6 cam/valve springs, LS9 headgaskets, ARP headstuds, 60lb injectors & dual 255lph pumps to support a .96 T70 with KB racing plumbing.

We've had 8 turbocharged cars but never had a chance to play with an LS, other than toying with them in my 200k mi 2.3L turbo Mustang.

Where I'm still undecided is the tuning & transmission upgrades. Most importantly this truck has to be a reliable tow pig yet still haul ***. I'd like to take it on the PowerTour 2012 (went in 08, had a blast, even in a VW GTI) Maybe even TX2K12

we also have this for sale, it runs, its a 78 Chevy with a GMC front clip, 350/350, thats all I know $2100

thanks, i really wanted to come down this year but couldnt swing it. talking about driving to dallas (and leaving our car with a friend) to fly out for vacation, then when we get back just driving down to houston from dallas

unless the truck is making 600hp+ by then (odds are against me) then we'll bring the S4, its just Stage 2+ but with a good tune should run somewhere in the 12's

raced a buddy with a high 11sec camaro, on slicks. I had allseason 19's on. He hooked & I spun but still put a carlength on him out of the hole. He reeled me in though and put a car, car & half on me

Welcome to the site. You and your wife have a.nice set of rides. As for the truck, the turbo set up would make it a nice tow pig, just have some extra cash ready to buy a tranny, that will be the first thing to take a crap!

Welcome to the site, and nice rides you have! As for the transmission for your truck........considering your plans for the truck, and the fact that you're 2WD, i'd go 80E and never look back!
