Just curious, what made you chose a truck with a 4.8L and a 3.23 gear? If performance was any kind of a concern it's a strange setup to buy in a truck. I will say it does look nice though, I really like that color.

thanks
the reason i bought that truck, the car that i was in (2006 cobalt ss/supercharged) was losing value faster than my $420 a month payment was taking care of it. AND, the middle of this year chevy will be releasing a turbocharged version of that car. When this happens, all the kids that own the sc's will be trading them in for the tc's. Market gets flooded, my car loses even more value. Thats why i got rid of that car.
So i needed something comprable in payments, i am 22 and not rich by any means, we got a really good deal on that truck to keep the payments close, if i had the choice, i really wouldave liked to have alot more, but money can be a really big issue. Especially considering i will be getting married in 3 weeks and the wedding is coming out of my pocket...

I know about the wedding thing. I'm getting married in mid April and paying for it all myself. I'm with you there.

Damn, we're all in the same boat. I'm getting married in April too, and again, out of my pocketbooks.

I guess for convenience. Dating is too much work and one night stands don't happen often enough.

I know what you mean. My bro-in-law just traded in a Land Rover with a slipping trany for a 08 RCSB V6 work truck. Same color as his. I have HPT and he asked me if a tune would help. I just looked at him and told him to keep his $100 for licensing.

And he's 24 and getting married. If getting married meant a v6 full size for me I'd be seriously considering the getting married part of it.
