I guess I'm a new member?
I've been an LS1tech member for ages, but I just bought a new 05 Silverado LS.
Has anybody ever heard of Alert Orange? It's just like the Hugger Orange that was on the 99 Camaros.
Well, I found one on a dealer's lot that hadn't sold in nearly a year and got a pretty decent deal on it.
Anyway, here's the good stuff.
5.3L 295hp/335tq
4 speed auto
RWD
Towing package (7000# rating should be great for the SS)
3.23 gears (should definitely be good on gas mileage eventhough it'll spin the tires all the way through first gear up to 50mph!)
G80 posi
LS package
4 door extended cab
17" aluminum wheels (with cheap General white letter tires for now...)
steering wheel controls for radio/DIC/etc
big disc brakes all around
spray in bedliner
power mirrors (w red LED turn signal arrows) that fold in with the push of a button inside like my mom's S-Clas Benz
