You can buy the hypercrap for the same price you can get a custom tune from nelson for. He has free updates for life so if you decide to mod your truck, the tune is updated to accomidate that tune. In answer to your queston earlier:

As far as taking your truck somewhere, you can do that or you just order a tune and they send you a new PCM in the mail, and you replace your stock PCM with the one they sent you in the mail. Thats what i have and i love it.

You can always buy computer software like HP tuners or LS1edit and you can do all of it yourself but if you dont know a lot about fuel curves or logging itll do more harm than good. Its all up to you and what you expect out of your truck.
