My name is Joey and I am the owner of Gulf Coast Street Rods and Fabrication currently located in Mandeville Louisiana .. I'm building a 5.3 reg cab right now for the shop truck .. I hear a cam , springs , turbo and a tune is the way to go with this thing .. What's the hp that you get with this combo ...

Depends on how aggressive you want to be. Cam only you could expect 300-350whp. With a turbo, from there to around 700whp+ Just depends how hard you want to push it on the stock bottom end. Peoples answers will vary. Those are just blanket statements.

Welcome to the forum.

There're many ways to do it. It just depends on what you want out of it. You will be able to do it much easier with a power adder. Nitrous, supercharger, or turbo...pick your poison
