Good friend in Greenwood has a silver 1993 Mustang LX Coupe you should watch out for. It was a solid 10 second car on drag radials with the old engine. Now we are swapping in a 332 Dart based stroker in place of the 5.0-based 327. It's a street driven car too.
Talking about Red River Raceway? It's a good track but a bit more expensive since it changed to NHRA. Nice thing about Shreveport is that there are 2 tracks with in about 30 - 45 minutes. Hallsville isn't as nice but it's close too.

Yea, I was talking about Red River. Are you talking about Hallsvile,TX? I have been there once, it is quite a bit of a drive for me, but so is Shreveport. Another LA track I heard was pretty good is Twin City in Monroe. It is less than 2 hrs from me.

I haven't been to the one in Monroe yet. There is another one near Pineville, LA too. Supposed to be pretty lax on the rules and a lousy track. You could run a 9 second car with no cage while eating McDonald's. Seriously....
