Hello from Saskatoon. I've had my 2001 Silverado for about a year now. I bought it from a guy who put the 6.0L into it. It's definitely lots of fun to drive and it's been very reliable too.
Here are some pics and specs.




Motor
2004 6.0L block
-Clevite double chamfered bearings all throughout
-Teflon coated stock pistons and skirts with new rings
-LS6 ported balanced oil pump
-LS2 timing chain
-Ported and polished 6.0l aluminum heads milled 12 thou for 9.8:1 compression, good for 87 octane gas
-3 angle valve grind on stock size valves
-New GM valve seals
-New front and rear main engine seals as well as all new gaskets and MLS head gaskets
-Comp cam 918 bee-hive valve springs with titanium retainers
-Thunder Racing TR220 camshaft, 220 intake 220 exhaust duration, .568 lift with 112LSA
-Thunder Racing chro-moly 7.400" pushrods
-LS1 lifters and rockers
-Ported and polished TB
-Bosch 30lb/hr fuel injectors
-Pacesetter ceramic coated Long-tube headers w/ 3" y-pipe
-Magnaflow muffler
-descreened Delco 85mm MAF
-K&N air filter with custom inlet tubes
-LS1 fans with e-fans wiring harness
-MSD wires with NGK TR55 spark plugs
