Hello from Michigan

I've got an 02 Z71 Avalanche with the LM7 5.3L and came here to read up on how to get some power out of it. I run the truck out on the sand dunes and would like to get a bit more power for being on the sand. As of now the truck sits like so:
GMPP CAI
3" Flowmaster 40 series catback
HyperTech 91Oct tune
stock keys cranked for my 285/70/17 Nitto Dune Grapplers
This month the truck will be getting:
Pacesetter LT's and ORY
2500 stall and Trans-Go shift kit
Snow Performance GM MAF methanol injection kit
After those are done I will then take the truck to Livernois Motorsports for cam, springs, push rods, and dyno tune. I have lots to learn here and plan on doing more research to find out what cam will be best for my setup.

The GM meth kit is for N/A motors and it used to lower IAT's that way you have cool air entering the motor and helping out on the performance a bit.

ya i know what it does. there is a better way to spend $300+ on a n/a motor. put that money towards your cam/spring/pushrod swap. there is not point trying to cool air that is already cool. now if you had FI i would say ya because as you compress air it heats up.
