I bought some 16x8's and a set of Super Swamper SSR 33x12.50-16. Not sure if they are any wider than the 305/70's (it factors out to the same, just have different plys or something) I had the Ford keys, and a add-a-leaf, to get them to quit rubbing, I had to trim everything, and crank the bars all the way, and on a bump in a curve they would still rub a little.

But I do know 305/70's will fit on the stock rims (not sure about the ssr's though)

thanks for the info. i havent even begun to research really since i plan to wait til these tires are gone. they probably have 5-10k miles left on them.

isnt that like a sin to lower a Z71? lol jk. its a 4x4, i have the camaro to scrape everything on the road, the truck needs to go places the camaro cant
I say lowering any FULL size trucks is a sin,but thats just me.
