Diesel guy with lack of gasser know how.
Hey guys, i'm a long time member of the Duramaxforum, drive an 07.5 LMM 2500HD that runs OK for what it is.
looking forward to reading more into the ls engines (gm gas engines not just the ls engines) since i have every last bit of the lb7,lly,lbz,lmm,and lml's down (had a few dmax's apart in my few years lol)

Most recent goal is to trap an 11.99 or better by Christmas. I'll be holding off once I break into the 11's because I want to keep the engine in one piece.

It's def a sickness , my cure is one grunt-packed diesel and one blown angry LSx . I'm happy lol
What are your mods ? Larger turbo to be that deep in the 12's?
Who does your tuning ? I need to try some diff tuning , I'm tired of 0087s killing my truck at half track

Tim, bought a tune from Rob for my 07 lbz and it's better the any of the stuff I could come up with and even drives nicer then the tune I bought from Star Light Diesel after I went to his tuning school. I just wish I could see what he did, but his tunes are locked from editing or viewing...
I dynoed it and made 400 to the wheels on an unloaded Mustang dyno with his 150hp tune. He said it would probably make a bit more loaded harder on the street. Made 300 on his optimized stock tune on same dyno. My truck has only a 4" dp back, AD lift pump and TG Jr.

considering he has made several low 9 second passes on FUEL ONLY, id say his tuning does well. starlight diesel is new to the tuning game compared to rob. honestly would never think of anyone else to tune my truck.
Rob does not tune truck for the highest power, he tunes them for the highest power that wont break things. my stock turbo tune put me into the 12's with ease and is very reliable as far as temps and pulse widths go.
