G-Day Truckers & Rodders
I'm an ole school hot rodder-drag racer and at 63 years old cannot get it outta my system.
Got a work truck & a play truck to trick up.
Leaving the work truck alone and playing with the other.
It is a 2007 AWD GMC Denali crew cab and all I have done so far is lower it 3"s, flat bed top and K&N air box on the alum. 405 HP 6.2 engine.
Was thinking "Air Bags" ??, 22 or 24" wheels ??, Performance chip ??, twin turbos-- scared to kill the tranny-transfer case and front & rear ends with all that boost ??, and looking for any ideas one might have for an ole school dude wanting to play a little.
Tell me something.
Thanks

Welcome Bill!
What kind of goals do you have? Can they be met with a single turbo or will your budget accomodate a nice twins set-up? Skip the performance chip or programmer and get a live tune, or if there's an AWD dyno near you go for a dyno tune. I also know of many who've pulled the front DS for a dyno tune as well. For turbos check out some of the sponsors; Livernois had a thread up not too long ago about their truck kits being on sale, Trick, KBracing, and STS (rear mount turbo systems).
