Default 5.3 swap for L96

I am doing a swap on my 2009 5.3 swapping for L96 6.0 I have now ran into a problem and dont know what to do. The L96 has vvt and I dont want to delete it. Is this possible hoping I didnt waste my money any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

You have to wire it in and then flash the computer so it can use the VVT.

This swap requires a tune anyway.

sorry it took so long to get back to you thank you for the feedback really appreciated, do I need to contact a GM dealer to get the pins for the ECU and can they tell me where to add the wires for VVT
