That is bad ***. Slow that *** down and it should launch event harder.

I take it didn't get faster since you posted only the first pass?

 

next pass took off with less boost off the line ran a 9.1x and last pass went 8.83@ 155 mph didnt record it from the same angle

 

Do you have any motor specs? I saw that it was an iron block 402 but how much boost, compression, trans, gears, ect?

 

Motor is a HKE 6.0 block stroked to a 402. HKE built this motor for us 5 years ago and has been taking a beating and is holding up just fine. Compression is 9.5:1.We are running TFS245 heads, Precision Metalcraft intake, precision 88mm turbo, CG Fabrication custom turbo kit with incab air to water intercooler, Rossler TH-400, Neal Chance converter, boosting 23psi and gears are 355 with a 9 inch diff.

 

Watching that truck go down the track the first time was awesome. I was not expecting it to leave the line like that much less turn that time. Awesome job man!

 

yup guys this truck was a beast right off the trailer and got that 8sec pass. It seems the 3 days off sleepless nights payed off lol.

 

I was behind the staging lanes and this truck left hard! Congrats to the xms crew for the fastest et! I left early but I think he won the shoot out correct?

 

We got fastest ls but not fastest over all that inline 6 truck got it with a 8.5x i believe
