Impressive, that's a stout motor. I can't wait for GM to shoehorn the 5.3L in the Colorado/Canyon, the power to weight ratio should be excellent.

Tell me about it. That's what I have been waiting for the V8 but only problem is that they will only come out in ext cab and quad cab.

As soon as the 5.3 comes out for a canyon, someone will sell/design mounts based on that design. Then you buy a Canyon, take out the stocker, and drop in the 5.3 with mounts. "Drop in" is used very loosely!

will probably be similar to the fullsize 4.3L v6- gen3 v8 swap, except much more popular for the reg cabs

The fact that it run's 12s I guess. I dont know just had to make a screename.

Nice, I remember that last part of the video where it is sped up 2x hehe. Got a timeslip for n/a and one for n20? I'm curious to see the 2sec drop on the gas. Not calling bs or anything, just want to see where you are making up the time.
