Default What is the top of the bike food chain? ZX-14 vs Hayabusa

Here is the first part: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=JAEBzpanGPs

Second with different ending: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=vFFpwxv0Caw

The Hayabusa and the ZX-14 are so close in performance, small changes make a big difference.

These two runs were done within minutes of each other with the exact same machinery. The only thing that changed was the rider on the Kawasaki.

but why would you want either of those fat hogs? sure they can do 200, but they're like the ultimate poser machines.

Of course says someone with 600's

I loved my busa, If I did it over again I would go with another 1000 for the handling and power but for straight line and longer rides the busa was fun. Half of the Posers that ride them are afraid to twist them open too. Of course some of those who dislike them are just afraid of them as well. Everytime I ride a 600 I feel cheated, dont get me wrong they are a blast I just am used to 1k's and larger bikes.

The new Hayabusa's are faster, that video is a new ZX14 with the older busa.

I'd say the 'poseur' mantle is more about WHO is riding that WHAT they are riding.

The most poseur-esque machines I know are the exotic cars. Probably 5% of them actually get used the way they were designed to be. Shame.

dually noted, it was definitely a biased opinion on my part. and of course everyone who rides them are not posers, but the majority i've rode with "don't really like the curves, lets get back on the highway".

i won't deny that they're fun to ride, and waaaay more comfortable than my bikes as well.
