This is my buddys 77 gmc, I just got done putting a cam in it and I thought it was a pretty cool truck so I made a little walk around vid of it. Its got an 05 model lq4 with milled ls6 heads, 228-232 588-595 114 cam, longtubes with duel 3in exhaust, fully built 4l60 with edge racing 4k stall, built 12 bolt rear with 4.10s. Its run 13.5 at 97 with the engine all stock and slipping tranny, I think its mid 12s now..

Yeah its a clean truck, Its kind of cool to jump in an old truck and it fires right up all winter long, get 18mpg, overdrive with lockup and have almost 500hp.

 

Clean! My fav. body style. Safe to say mid 12's I'd agree.

Yeah I drove it around some and liked it alot, Only thing id like is if it were a short bed but these older truck can pull off looking good with the long bed I think.

 

Nice build. LOTS of room in that engine bay. Two hairdriers would fit fairly easily...

I'd like to do something like that one day. Or a lsx swap into a mustang LX.

Still kinda rare, but Im seeing more and more built up RCLB's out there. I prefer the short beds too but still, pretty cool
