The Sierra apparently had a bad day.

Honestly the Ram is the best pickup available right now. 390 hp, 21 mpg and coil spring rear suspension. They even have a RT model with the 5.7 in the RCSB still.

The f-150 isn't even all new...half of it is from the 04 model year.

i'm not saying its real world mileage, thats just what its rated at, which is 2 mpg better than the 6.0 6-speed combo and 1 mpg better than even the 5.3

The XFE gets that. The 6.2L in D.O.D. mode should be close to that. I'd still take a Chevy over the Dodge. As for the test, the GMC didn't test as well plain and simple. It did have different shocks and is likely heavier which is why it didn't outperform the Toyota as well as the Chevy did. It just shows you that simple changes can make a big difference in how a truck performs. That Ford sure is slow though.

I also have a 06 Jeep GC, 5.7l and I know what it gets mpg wise. The trucks are worse then my jeep. I have a couple buddies with Ram 1500 5.7l and they are always bitching about how bad there fuel mileage is. Cant believe the window sticker. Did they fix the Hemi tick in the new ones yet?
