good thorough explanation cody.
yeah, i bet that 6k shift pts were really hurting you. maybe try out 6400 next time.
i know what you mean about the first pass. it's usually my fastest half the time.

once you get the little things worked out it will come together.
the first time to the track with my combination the best i ran that night was 13.40@98 or 99. since then all i did was put the truck on a diet and open up the exaust.

Its just gonna take some time tho. But look basically just a camp and no tunning already dropped you 6 tenths.

just gears and not changing anythign I wouldnt think is gonna drop your 60' THAT MUCH.

And yes guys that is my truck. 5.3l gt2-3 cam, street tires aired down toe 25psi, cutouts right behind lt's, 2800 stall, FIPK intake, 4.10 gears, trutrac posi, and tuned! Then the 125 shot, and next time ill be on the slicks so im upping hte holeshot

onebad, why do you have a blower cam in there? I would think you could benefit a bun ch from a larger intake duration N/A and still have abit of exhaust bias for the nitrous. A blower motor doesnt need very much intake duration since the air is being shoved in there unlike a nitrous/ N/A motor. You planning on throwing a radix on soon?

Hey 1slowz71, do a search from about 3-4 months ago when I did research. Its what I bought and wanted, The only people that know that cam is in their are hte ones I tell. I have my reasons. If I wanted you to knwo you would have known back then.

Hey 1slowz71 if you dont like the way I take care of my **** STFU....

why dont you get your truck runnign with your turbo and your 418 and w/e else you have? No hard feelings but you come in questioning something I decided on? Im not a COMPLETE idiot. Im happy with my descision right now, who doesnt want bigger? I still use my truck as a truck also. I own a 900lb four wheeler that requires some hauling to and from riding area's. I have a trailer and work for a company where I sometimes have to haul anything from 25lbs to 1000lbs of stuff......

Like I said no hard feelings tho.
I would think alot of **** too if.........

THat makes two of us, and I mean thier are a handful of small thigns i can still improve on. Pulley, shortbelt, still on clutch fan, was on street tires. Wasnt spraying out of whole, could up the starting percentage in my controller.

Ask woodhauler, tan327, or rhino....I was overly pleased and probably a little annoying later that night I was happy!!!!
