problem is, that's a stock ls1 camaro with traction........... a stock ls1 camaro on street tires and babying the launch still runs 13.1-13.2, 12's aren't even hard to touch.

13 flat is fast for a truck, but the cars just have so much on us. weight 3400 lbs and all, with similar horsepower.

i'll give ya props for a fast truck, but don't go claiming to beat up on cars that are gonna be a lot faster. BTW, i'd love to see a video of one of you guys runs, because so far i feel like i'm being bullshit. I'm giving ya the benefit of the doubt, because it's only fair. But i really wanna see a video of a 13 second hemi. i'm a doubter.

 

Know he can't what? run 12's? There's several in the 12's.

And as for tuning, my truck is in FL now letting a company get into the pcm. They have already custom tuned it for the cam I had installed, now they are trying to tune it for the next mods. I decided to give them my truck jsut to see if someone could finally hack into the ciomputer and make some things happen. I'm not going to get into a pissing contest with you over a ls1 camaro. I simply said that with his mods (which includes a very healty dose of nitrous) he can beat some of the ls1's, lightnings and whatever else that runs at our track. A slightly modded LS1 is a different story.

And to zip right into the 10's- that's funny.

Hey here's a video to make this a multimedia topic. LOL! I weighed today at a whopping 5960# for my 4x4 QC. This video is 0 to 60 at 5.5psi of boost. I run 8psi on the street which has put a hurtin' on some ls1's. But hell, I need SOMETHING to get this heavy ole beast moving. Excuse the country music.

so now I see you guys are sprayin' but still stock well almost. Finally the truth comes out. Anything goes as stock with you guys. No wonder you can so fast and still be stock, with turbos and nos.

 

i wouldn't mind showing video as long as i can find some1 to race me. i've raced my buddies ls1 with intake, headers, and full exhuast and i take him everytime. and this is on the street. just cause you have and ls1 with plenty of mods and beat up on alot of trucks doesn't mean you won't find a truck that will run all over your ***. just need to remember that no one's truck is the same.

as long as everything goes well this week you all should have a vid of my QC running ATLEAST an 8.50 in the 1/8. that should be the slowest it runs. i'm just waiting to hook up a sensor. just wait and see. not all trucks are created equal and mine was one of the fast ones that came out. i know my truck shouldn't be this fast but for some reason it just is, so all can do it go with it.

Noone ever said the word STOCK when talking about the LS1. He said "since his new mods"- hence, not stock. Define stock and I'll tell you the quickest I've seen. If it's bolt ons, intake and exhaust it'll be mjfikac or 777, middle 13's.
