o no doubt and when ford and dodge get with him things will reallly be fun . i been waiting to see someone beat him , becasue theres always someone faster then you out there you know . and im dieing to see what he'll do with his truck when he knows he has someone to beat and not just keep setting records you know lol

I have to jump in on this thread!! How much power are you 5.3 guys getting with a custom tune or new PCM?? The only tune available for the Hemi is Superchips/Hypertech, and they only give us about 15rwhp...Its hard to make some serious power until we can work out the tuning issues. MrDestinE and I are 2 of the quicker N/A Hemis...both in the 13's so far. I have only run the 1/4 mile once, and ran a 13.99 @ 98.89mph with just a cold air intake, headers, an exhaust cutout, and superchips. And that was on stock 17 wheels and skinny 245/70/17 tires. This pass was also in high humidity, and my 1/8 ET on that 13.99 pass was .1 slower and 3 mph less than I normally run in the 1/8th. I think my truck will easily run 13.7's as is with some descent weather. I just installed a nitrous kit though, so I ready to have some fun with that. If any Dallas, TX 5.3 chevy guys want to race tonight, I will be at Denton Dragway from 7pm-2am...I will be with 2 other 12 second Hemi's as well, and we would love for you guys to join us!!

Be sure to get some video. I'm building a dvd and need you and wbw on video. Is 04SW (Ken) coming out too? If so, be sure to get a little video of all of your runs.
We tried to get to the track with bigbadboys truck on my ET Streets. Rain kept it shut down though
Thought it would clear up so we could maybe get to Ware Shoals but nope... still raining. I believe he'll see 8.1's or less.

damn you guys need u/d pullies, a tune, intake and exhaust to run mid 14's? must suck to own a chevy. headers, high flow cats, and intake put me at 14.567 @ 93.63 on a 2.208 60' . how 'bout them apples? with u/d pullies and a programmer i should be low 14's to high 13's.. easy.. and that's with 3.92 ULSD (unlimited slip diff. aka open rear end) and stock chrome clad 20's. did i mention it was the beginning of may and very humid? you know normal florida weather. one season all year long.
hemi's = slow? naaahhh
besides truck ran a 14.992 stock.
damn i hate it when people say these trucks are slow.
