my QC ran a 14.9 with CAI and exhaust which is a 9.51 in the 8th. this was on 22's and it was my 3rd trip to the track. the first time i went i ran a 9.9. knowing what to do helps alot. my times went down from 9.90 to a 9.51 with just practice. never got to run my truck stock because i just never did. i just think every1's truck is a little different. i don't know if the computers on the chevy's learn the driving habbits like the hemi computer. but with our trucks, if you baby it alot once you run at the track it will be slower just because its kinda of in a conservative mode. those who drive their truck harder get more out of it than you can expect. i drive mine hard everyday to make sure it doesnt go back to sleep and to keep it on its does.

I think that stock for stock, it all depends no the driver and the weather conditions...but I still have to say that I think dodge has the slightest edge, which is why I bought the hemi instead of the 5.3...but not by much. I think the hemi makes just a little more power, but the chevy is lighter, so they almost cancel each other out...And on the other hand, chevy has a much larger aftermarket, so the heavilly modded chevy's will take dodge every time until we can find a way to fine tune our trucks.

I'm in agreeance. There's no definitive winner. but we all know ford loses. lol. ( except the lightenings, but that's not even in this category )

I ran consistent 15.7 in my 02 ECSB 5.3L with 3.73's, Corsa and K&N FIPK and those DTW guys were running 15.3's all day. The SRT10 and one other truck with a 100 shot of nitrous were in the high 13's or low 14's, IIRC. I always got them off the line and they always past me halfway through the run.

15.7 is kind of slow for your mods. My cousin ran a 15.3 in his stock 00' RCSB (5.3). Those 02' run stronger and your truck having E/I/3.73s, you should be running in the low 15s (a single cab would run around hi 14s). How much weight did you have? I bet a nice tune would really wake her up.

Here you go...My best 1/4, and my best 1/8. Look how much higher my 1/8 mph is on the 1/8 mile slip...that was in good air. Now imagine what I would do in the 1/4 with that same air!!
