I'm not sure about whats going on with your friends truck. I have been racing mine for over a year now, done TONS of powerbrake/burnouts, and swing corners like I'm an autocross driver, and I have had no problems with my truck. I have been told that 1 or 2 guys have busted their aluminum driveshaft, but I dont remember the cause. As for the differential, I have heard of them being weak, but again, no problems with mine, and I drive it hard too.

You wont be dissapointed with the hemi if you choose to get one. You wnt get to pdollar for your trade, but you also wont be paying top dollar for the new truck either!! It should work out even. Remember, it takes 5,000 miles or so before the hem ireally wakes up...once that break in period ends, it on!! Good luck with you decision...you cant go wrong as long as you own a truck!!

F**k off Metalmulisha...if you have a problem with dodge, then tell me what it is...dont just say dodge sucks...blah, blah, blah...give me a reason. I am a very open minded guy and I will listen to your reasons why you are not a dodge fan. But dont just say "dodge is slow", and leave it at that...tell me why you think the hemi's are slow or why you dont like dodge.

It's a Hemi Driveshaft

Plus some people have problems with the Axle braking at the wheel. The only drive shaft that i saw break was on a camaro runing 800rwtq on stock drivetrain with stickies the thing twisted and finally broke. Not to bash your trucks but i think they need kinda of a stronger driveshaft.
Hey 5.3...... you actually signed into a Dodge site to get that?????

I know of more than a few spraying off the line on Drag Radials with large shots and having no probs with the driveshafts..... bound to be more than meets the eye here..

I have not heard any of this.... I can say that I have way over 300 1/4 mile drag slips and some of them off the line with a 35 shot of NOS on Drag Radials and have powerbraked to heat the tires countless times.... no probs.... and swinging around the corners... well that is for juveniles that have no power.
