No engine modifications were made, so figures remain at 600 hp (448 kW) and 560 ft·lbf (760 N·m) as in the base car. The ACR gives an advantage of being street legal. The ACR is similar to the MOPAR Viper that Dodge displayed at various auto shows. Weight is also decreased by as much as 80 lb (36 kg) by way of the "Hardcore Package" which deletes radio, speakers, amplifier, trunk carpet, hood pad and tire inflator. Its aerodynamic upgrades produce 1000 lbf (4.4 kN) of down-force at 150 mph (240 km/h), or roughly 10 times the downforce the stock Viper can produce at the same speed. No upgrades were given to the interior except for the addition of a professional beacon-tripped lap timer.

It's not really more aftermarket than a z06 or ZR-1 package on the vette...

I would still like to see a real driver in the zr1. that lap was made with an engineer behind the wheel, not a race car driver. not to mention the vette was on run flats with a full nav-system and ac. the acr has no ac/ no radio. you cant even drive the acr on the street with the front splitter they had on the car for that lap.

Before y'all start calling me out, I am a fan of both cars. But, let's face it...

The Viper is a track car and the ZR1 is a street car. That's what they are built for.
