Default speedo run

I took the truck in to have Charlie work his magic. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't do much. Charlie was able to get it to idle and richened her up with fuel some....But tomorrow we'll hook the wideband up and do some real tuning.

Anyway, here's a quick 30 roll punch:

LQ4 (stock internals)
230/227 .592 .570 111 LSA via SportSide
Hotrodpaul 243 Heads
Corsa Catback

And that's about it lol...stock airbox, stock manifolds, stock G80 w/ 3.73's..No bolt-ons basically . That'll all come with time.

Nice!! need to raise those shifts up tomorrow. Look like it is running a lot harder than the 5.3.

I'd like to spray a 75 shot down the road.

Thanks guys, I hope I can break 13's with what I have so far. If the weather is nice I'll probably head to HRP this Sunday.

Thats a bad cam choice for spraying, reverse split and narrow lsa, will probably be a great cam N/A to help out with the truck intake but I would spray too much with that cam, reverse splits increase cylinder pressure greatly with nitrous, which even though you probably wouldnt blow a head gasket, it can contribute to knock and/or detination. When you start spraying take baby steps, I just dont want you to blow your new motor.

Thanks for the advice Cody. LOL I thought 75 shot would have been considered conservative...Although I don't see myself ever spraying more than that. I could be happy with a 50 shot, I wouldn't pay for a nitrous kit if I was going to spray anything less however. I'm not even close to considering spray at the moment though- I need to pay off some bills!

What are some first impressions of the new motor and how she's running? I bet you'd be 13s on street tires.
