That's why time and time again when these threads get made we say "DON'T dyno in 3rd gear"

Did anything else break besides the driveshaft?

 

those are damn good numbers for a cammed and tuned 5.3??

 

That's why when I dyno I don't want to be anywhere near the truck unless I'm inside of it. I don't care if it has a built driveshaft or not. There's too much other **** that could go wrong and fly out of the motor even.

 

what else did it takeout? when mine went, it took the trans out too. what RPM were you bringing it up to?

 

i dont know yet , ... i gotta find out if it took out the trans

 

Good #'s Nick!!! When my driveshaft came out, it took out the gas tank,driveshaft, and the exhaust. Sorry to hear dude.

 

Damn that def sucks...

 

every dyno i do is in 3rd. 2 piece drive shaft FTW. sucks to hear though. LOL at too much power comment. theres no such thing as too much power.
