it runs, we temped up a fuel system and battery and it fired right up. runs and idles and revs. the msd/megasquirt is a real easy to do combo on the ls1.

he is slacking. not really all that exciting though, we just hooked it up and turned the key, vroom. just like that.

we did find one problem. i checked the oil flow to the turbo and wasn't geting any. checked the oil presure sensor and there was presure. wtf? i pulled off the fittings and line and checked them out and there was something in the oil line. it looked like part of a cigarete butt. maybe some packing material soaked with oil? not real sure but i feel like we dodged a bullet on that one. the only reason we checked the flow at the turbo was because we dont have an oil presure gauge and wanted to make sure it was pumping oil.

There shooting for 450whp, but if I know Jim it will be closer to 600whp.

Wow! How did I miss this thread?! Oh, that's right...I'm deployed overseas now. Great choice of car and drivetrain setup. I look forward to seeing this thing on a future episode of PINKS. Post videos when you have a chance.
