a few of us locals are going to try and get on the pinks show, not sure if they will let us on or not but we are building a car and going to try. check it out so far. we had most of the parts for this laying around. some were donated from businesses like specter, hp motorsports, diyautotune. so far we are into the car for about $1900 in cash. i think we will end up around $3k in actual cash. people are really coming together to donate stuff they had laying around and that is keeping the costs way down.

we are going to get it running before we even apply to get on the show. we know a few people that might be able to help us get it on the show. if anyone has the hook up with any of those guys maybe you could put in a word for us.

we didnt have all the parts to make the ls1 intake work so we are going with the truck intake and going to let it stick thru the hood. not sure if we will cowl it or not.

stock 5.3, we were doing a t350 but it was hurt prety bad so now we are doing a t400, 8.8 ford rear with bolt on suspension parts.

 

that is going to be awesome.

another good day out in the garage. we prety much finished up the header and cross over. did the oil lines to the turbo, did a little wiring and was able to crank the motor over, fixed the passenger door, worked on mounting the tach and wideband, started cleaning up the roll bar parts.

anyone have a bowtie emblem laying around. we would like to stick one to the grill
