mp70, it was donated and cost us nothing.

this project is a lot of fun. it is like a little party every saturday out in my garage. so far we have kept the costs way way down. people are coming thru everywhere to help put this together.

i had the 5.3 laying around. someone had the turbo, someone had the injectors, someone had the tach, someone had the radiator, someone had the fans, someone had the rear wheels and slicks, someone had many of the suspension parts for the rear, someone had the cage, i had most of the parts to put the turbo kit together, scott(diesel geek) from Spectre is hooking us up with a phantom computer and wg and bov. diyautotune gave us a harness and a wideband. hp motorsports gave us the lower control arms. we got the 8.8rear end from a lincoln for $75. a few people from this site have even offered up some parts .

this really is a group project. i didn't know how things would work out doing a group project but so far things are going along great. we kind of split up some of the major parts of the project. i mostly took over under the hood. another guy is taking care of most things tranny related. another guy is doing most of the rear end. we have a guy that likes to wire so he is going to wire most of the car up. the converter was a big expence and we found one guy willing to throw up the cash for that. we are going with a precision 9.5" 3400rpm stall.

the car was $300

Are you still in need of anything? Post a list up here of anything you need or might just want to add on. I'm sure we all have stuff we've been anxious to donate to a worthier cause then our heaps in the garage. Also if your still in need of an emblem I got you covered, just let me know.
