I'm on my phone so typing it all out would suck but mortgaging your assets and getting a bailout are two different things. In simplest form, its a secured loan vs an unsecured loan(what gm got). At no point did the government own any part of Ford. Their stock prices sucked and not buying a few grand of it is one of the biggest financial mistakes I've made. In just one year I could've gotten my money back 10 times over

I bought Ford stocks just before **** hit the fan. They sold there shares in Jaguar and Mazda instead of taking a bailout. It was a smart move on my part, I'll say that. And now they're finally running out some decent product. I'd say GM is bottom of the big 3 right now. Chrysler's really starting to get their **** together too.

I'd probably buy a new mustang over a camaro, but it'd be somewhat tempting to get the camaro just for the larger engine and more familiar engine design. But stock for stock the mustang beats the camaro in just about every category.

those new 5.0 mustangs are no joke. my buddy ran his 2012 last night bone stock and went a 13.4 his first run ever in the car. its only got 600 miles on it. he redlined, short shifted, and bogged at the line. that car has alot more in it, but they wouldn't let him run again due to no helmet. I'm impressed with it forsure.

Oh and as far as the raptors go, we've run my buddies CC 6.2 down a dirt road and it feel like your driving in a cadillac. Those trucks were purpose buillt for going fast down uneven surfaces, so a 15.5 on 35s impresses the hell out of me. Throw some 31s and recalibrate it. I bet you'll see some mid 14s out of it with that 6.2 and 6 speed tranny.

The mustang 5.0 is awesome, they finally have a good transmission and they have the 8.8 live axle, with after market gears as cheap as they come. AWESOME! Plus they are light. The new turd camaro weighs 200 lbs. less then my truck and IRS is a ******* joke! I wouldn't go as far as to say Dodge is better then GM but Ford has stepped way up. In all reality it was about time, the 4.6 and 5.4 has been a joke since 1997, thats almost 15 years of being totally dominated. I don't know where GM came up with the camaro's design, it unbelievable that GM would build two vehicles like the ZR1 and the CTSV and totally drop the ball on the Camaro...

i agree. the camaro came out to be a closer relative of a luxery vehicle than a sport ride.

TRUTH!

I don't see how some people can compare a vehicle made for OFF ROAD use and expect it to be fast on the strip. These Raptors are more at home Off Road than any highway.
