........and it's slow. I keep hearing about how badass they are.

This was his best pass out of 3, 15.5 at 88 mph.

I heard they did not come with the 6.2l as they had supposed too... the engine is a 5.4l :/

Check out what the eco boost engine in those trucks are running tho. In a reg cab truck it could be a nice truck.

Those trucks are HEAVY and they're spinning 35s too. I don't think its that bad considering the stock ccsb 4wd gm 6.2s run mid/high 14s and they've got a lot smaller tires.

I agree, and besides that, they were purpose built for running fast on fire roads, not the drag strip. But these trucks have been so hyped up for so long, that EVERYONE there, including the driver, expected mid-low 14's.

I know it is on big tires, 4wd and meant mostly for offroad, but it is meant to be a "performance" truck. I don't hardly call that performing. Most everything SVT is slow. The focus was a snail, most of the mustangs aren't going to knock your socks off either.

Most of the hype of read about is in reference to the suspension. All I've seen mentioned about the engine is that its a lot better than the 5.4. Anyone who thought that was a 14 second truck on paper hasn't been around trucks long enough. Tall tires absolutely kill gas engine trucks, hell even on my almost 800rwtq Dmax the 35s made a huge difference in performance.

Go tie on to one of those new 5.0s, or a gt500 or a boss mustang then say that. Ford isn't at the bottom of the totem pole anymore. I'm a gm man through and through but Ford is producing a better quality product right now. There is a reason they aren't owned by the government and turning billions in profit.

These 2 local SVT's are fast, IMO.
