Default My twin turbo Duramax Diesel

Here is a vid of my Duramax running at the track for the first time this year at US-131 in MI. My brother was driving the truck since I could not make it to the track. He has never drove the truck before:

Here it is on a non-load type Dynojet laying down 672hp and 1092ft/lbs uncorrected in Holland, MI on the same day as the drags. It only made 50psig boost on that dyno and makes 70psig at the track.

These numbers are on #2 Diesel fuel only.

Timeslip says:

Main Power:672HP @ 50 psi on #2 Diesel only
Power 2: None
Tires:33x12.5x17 Cepek FC-II on H2 rims
HDR:????
Intake:Twin Turbos from Maximized Performance in Idaho
Underdrive Pulley:No
TorqueConverter: Suncoast 1057
Heads:Stock
Cam:Stock
Gears:*3.73
Posi:G80
Tune:EFI Live/Me, F1 Performance Injectors, ATS Twin CP3 Fuel Pumps

The truck also ran 11.8468 at 118.42 that day.

I have an ATS co pilot transmission controler on the truck but it was off. It should take at least .2 off the 1/4 time. It locks the converter to get more power to the ground. Truck was ran at full weight with no traction bars or spring clamps. The torsion bars were lowered and it was run in 4x4. My brother said he was leaving the line with 15psig of boost and topped the boost out at ~70psig.

The ones I've seen are a compounding setup, where one turbo feed into the other to get higher boost pressures. The stock turbo is in the stock location and the second turbo is where the air box was. Pretty neat setups
