Default My race car..56k click now and look in the mornin

well here she is..got the cage the day i went to new mexico..had is sandblasted and repainted..started on it last tuesday and this is how far ive gotten with it..all i really have left to do is get a new rear end put in and all the linkages and the rest of the body and screen and im done.. heres a sound clip of the motor..got it running last night

yep i found it..my buddy had it..no im not going to do all those by hand..several hundred rivots

this a a cheep motor that i originally built last year just to race a few races in..scat crank, eagle i beam rods, srp forged pistons, pro topline 50cc heads that have been milled they flow 220, cam is a comp 4/7 swap 260/268 dur at .50 .559/548 lift on a 106 lsa..high rise single plane intake with a 800 cfm C&S aerosol carburetor..Full MSD Ignition..quartermaster clutch..heres a pic of the type of clutch it is..7.25" in diameter..lightweight..bolts to a automatic trans flexplate

Typical dirt car, even when there clean, there dirty, lol. You don't run a spring or rubber 3rd link bar?

nope we cant..one end has a rubber bushing and thats all we can run..i wish we could run a spring loaded 3rd link...but just got my new rear end put in last night and the rest of the back half can go back on now

What do you run as far as pedals (brakes and clutch)? I am looking at some willwood pedals for a project I am working on, and I was just wondering what you use?
