Me vs Lightning

Had a nice little meet at a Hooters in Mexico last Saturday... got to run my friends L.
Lightning Dynoed at PSI 410HP/485TQ on a 100 degree 90% humidity day
Lightnings mods -
- Fully ported Blower
- upper intake (plenum and tb) by steig
- Fresh rebuild on blower
- 6lb lower
- Tr6 plugs gapped at .32
- dyno tuned by PSI motorsports
- Oil Sep
- FT valve body
- Deep trans pan
- Metco idler bracket and pulleys
- Battery relocation kit in bed
- c-notch in rear and over D/S
- Woodbine motorsports intake
- Full bassani catback with X-pipe
- Deleted pre-cats
My mods -
- 226/226 584/584 112+4 cam
- SLP UD pulley
- Pacesetter LT's/ORY
- Magnaflow Exhaust with 3" cutout
- Outlaw CAI
- 05 efans
- ARD built transmission with some sometimes 3rd gear problems and barley any gear
- Circle D 9.5" 4C stall (4000-4200)
- 4.10's with a broken auburn posi (one wheel peel all over again
)
- Taylor 10.4 wires and TR55 plugs
- hand ported stock TB
25-70 roll... My transmission took forever to downshift and he got the hit on me, but thats runnin in mexico for ya. Got me by a good truck length... maybe a little more.

50-100 or 110... good run he got me by half a truck length.

Another 50-100 or 110... another good run got me by almost a full truck length

All in all im happy with my old 150k mile 5.3l running against something that makes 100 more HP than me
. Thats my buddy Marks truck and it runs really well.
