ok fellas this is what i do on the rig when we trip pipe. We drill 3 miles into the earth for natual gas. I guess you can say i keep you warm at night lol. in this video im 90ft from the floor of the rig 125ft off the ground. the platform im standing on is called a diving board. the pipe weighs 21.5 pounds per foot and its 96 foot tall. do the math its heavy. When the driller comes down on the blocks ( the yellow pully) i have to pull that pipe out of the way and rack it in the fingers. Its not for everyone to work that hard that high up anyways enjoy

yes all day once its out then i have to reverse the process and go right back in the hole but this video is not an everyday thing just when we have to change bits or something down hole fails
