Started right up on the first turn and found idle right away. Valvetrain (pac 1218 and 7.375" hardened pushrods) is quieter than stock at idle for some reason. Under load at low rpms in 4th gear though you can hear it chattering in the cab. Other than that all is well. Haven't had a chance to get on it yet since I'll wait till it's retuned for the new flow and compression but I did get it up around 3200 going around a wide turn and my truck went sideways

I'll gladly run it if I get the go ahead that it would be safe on the tune that's in there now.
Next round of mods is 4l80e, 32-3400 converter, cam, and possibly nitrous wet plate kit if I feel like wasting any more money.
Everyone was bugging me about running the clutch fan too lol. They confirmed what I thought before, that the LS1 fans dont cool worth a **** in the summer. The only way Im switching to Efans is if I can get the GM OEM setup for a reasonable price.

I'm going to see if I can get it on a dyno when Wheatley gets me the retune back. I'm also going to dyno in 3rd this time. I've had it up around 6000 rpms on the street in 3rd with the 4.10s and the driveshaft stayed intact so I should be ok. I'll also run it down the 1/4th on March 21st.

That's quite the complement coming from you Zippy. It's funny you mention that you like my setup because I can sit here and rattle of several others ways I wish I would have taken my setup. But anyways, in keeping with doing just 1 thing at a time, the next mod will be the 4l80e I have sitting here and a 32-3400 torque converter. That probably won't get me 12s but it should be close. The last thing I'll do will be the cam, which is odd considering that cam is regularly the first thing people do.
