The way the people on the start line in the first video got small so quickly made this video the best I've ever seen as far as giving me a truer sense of a dragster's acceleration. Dang!

 

Yeah, those guys are runnin in the 5.30's at right at 270mph in Top Alcohol Dragster.

 

that's what i am saying, it definitely adds a better perspective.

 

for anybody that has never been to a top fuel drag race you need to go. nobody can explain it good enough and the tv does it NO justice at all. it is defintely something to remember!!!

 

Also...we're so worried about iat's on our forced induction stuff, these guys are running more than 60 pounds of boost! On alcohol (methanol), there's SO much fuel and air flowing thru them, we have to spray de-icer on the butterflies before the run! There's actually ICE on the blower at the end of a run!!

 

I'm pretty sure I can take one in my truck......
