Talking carnage pics of the 414

here are some carnage pics i found in my computer so i figured id share with you all...

this was the 414 when it let go ...look at the rod....looks like a bomb went up in there

Looks like the high exhaust pressures kept some serious heat on the pistons.Shortblock fail accomplished in a respectable fashion.What do you think could've been done to prevent this type of failure??
Thanks the pics too...Without people like you we wouldnt be making the advancements in ls engines design like we do.

Damn!!!! I'll make sure not to touch the "throw rods" button when i'm tuning my truck.....
