BadA$$ Twin Turbo Ford Pickup
Friend of mine's 1971 Ford Pickup.
550 inch BBF with twin 88mm turbos.
1198 RWHP at 24psi boost.
truck weighs 4100lbs.
Turbos mounted in bed of truck.
Truck has insurance, inspection sticker, mufflers, and DOT approved Hoosier tires. and is Street driven. No 1/4 mile times yet, still working out some bugs and has to get some chutes installed to help stop it. First test pass launching easy on low boost and shutting it off early it ran 11.50 @ 147mph. Before he went to the turbos it had a D3R ProCharger and ran a best of 8.90 @ 154 mph. Looking to go 8.50s with the new turbo setup.

You should get Earl to hook you up with a rear mount turbo setup for your truck. I'm trying to decided if I'm going to sell my 4Wheeler, if I do, the money from the 4Wheeler is going to a Turbo for my Truck or I'm gonna get rid of my truck too, get an '09 with the 6.2L and put a turbo on it. I figured if I can't have fun on my 4wheeler because of the herniated disc in my neck, I'll have fun burning rubber in my truck!!!!!

Am I the only one that thought it sounded like a small jet powering down after the burnout.
