Default Acceleration Video War

Something that is pretty popular on another forum that I'm on. Video Wars, is just that, post up your accel vids. Lots of people use dyno numbers to justify how fast the truck is.. I don't like that (too much inconsistencies on chassis dynos). Want to know how fast it is?? Run it!!!

I've seen where 40-90 vids are used, others where 60-100 are used.

Anybody have accel clips?

Here is a 3rd gear 40-100mph in my truck. Pulls pretty good from starting at such a low RPM. A 2nd gear would most definitely be quicker too.

40-90 = 6.24 seconds
60-100 = 5.40 seconds

IMO ETs are overrated. Especially on street driven trucks. If its dedicated drag, that's one thing. But my truck sees very little strip time. Most of my racing comes from roll racing (closed course in Mexico obviously). So in that manner, ET doesn't really mean anything to me. You'd have to compare traps more then ETs.

Sure we can just post time slips.. but personally, I like videos more.

Well, you can't beat that can you. lol.

Only that doesn't really help me to see where I would stand against said racing parties.
