Thats insane, my speedo only moves half that fast from 0-50. Truck sounds nice, whats the times?

did that drop down into first at 40mph and then shift into second at 60mph? Is that typical of the 80E, my 60E will only drop down into first from 35mph and shift into second at 50mph. Are you running more boost now, the race vid said 7psi, that setup has a lot left in it, looks like fun.

Yep dropped to 1st. We have it tuned to shift at 6k right now. It was shifting 1-2 at 6700 rpm which is 67 mph when shifting 1-2. It will drop into 1st all the way up to 48 mph. 1st gear with the 4l80e seems to last forever compared to the 4l60e. It is a dog off the line with the stock converter. That will change soon with the new stall. Hopefully the 5.7 will be going in by the 1st of oct. Currently the boost is at about 7.5 psi. If I did'nt have to work out off the truck everyday I would turn the boost up to 10 lbs and see what it would do. It suprises a lot of people.
